As usual, I was very pleased with Scanlon's service on my 2006 Acura TL. They were very honest in saying that my tires still had at least 5,000 left in them and did not need to be replaced and that my brakes didn't new rotors, even though I thought they might need to be replaced. How's that for honesty!
Bought an Acura TSX here. Contacted them throught the internet. Dealership did not disclose that the vehicle was in an accident before. After driving away from the lot, realised one of the headlights was not fuctioning. Still had 2 yrs of warranty on the vehicle. On taking the car to a different dealership ( I am not from Ft Myers) was told that the repair would not be covered due to evidence of a crash before. Called the dealership back. I requested the vehicle to be returned. The sales manager told me that 90% of vehicles on a used car lot have been in crashes and that it was not his fault having sold a vehicle that had been in an accident. I did send a guy for inspection prior to buying through one of the online car inspection services and they did not report anything about a crash ( take a guess how that happened? - bribery? Florida con job?)) ANyway I would stay away from a marquee dealership that sells cars from crashes. I even got financed for the car through honda - beat that. STay away from these guys, they will do anything to make a buck.
