I have never had in my life such bad service!
I will attach the e-mails I have send to the body shop manager BUT NEVER recieved one back!
BTW: I did not have to pay but they didn’t paint right at the end and they have broken the part!
Email Nr.1:
Hi Kevin
Just wanted to write you a little about my experience with your body shop department this last week.
It takes a lot to make me write something like that and I am used to a lot.
I had a spoiler prototype SLA from GM that needed to be painted (just base coats) with the paint that I provided.
When I came in to drop the spoiler and get an estimate, I was wondering about the amount ($174) that I was told.
I mentioned that my GM engineer had told me that usually they pay below $100 but I needed to confirm this.
When I looked into the estimate in detail I had to find that there was 3xpaint each $20= $60 and also 3h of labor.
I called in on Monday to discuss and that I don’t understand why I had to pay for paint even I provided it and furthermore believe that the 3h labor would apply
For a full blown spoiler off a actual car, which would need way more time than just putting some base layer on a piece of plastic?!
After my questions I got told that total than would be $154 because of the delivered paint…….
$174 -$60=$154???
I mentioned that I don’t understand the math, so I was asked “what do you want it to be”?
Very stunned by that question I replied that at least I would believe it should be NO more than $114!…..makes sense?
The answer was: “o.K. than $114 and it will be ready by tomorrow”
(btw. Not really charming spoken)
Oh, well. Up to here all fine with me and next time I will have a job done I will not asked for an estimate but furthermore maybe just tell in the beginning what I WANT to pay!
….sounds like a deal to me?
So, that was Monday!
I gave it another day before I came in to pick the spoiler (which was supposed to be ready Tuesday)
On Wednesday I come in to get told ,…..guess what…. The spoiler isn’t ready yet!!
WOW!
So, I will drive there today AGAIN (btw. I have not heard once for anything a nice word or excuse) to hopefully be able to pick the spoiler.
So, do you think I will recommend this service or do any more business myself here??
Best Regards,

Spoiler the 2.:
Hi Kevin
You would NOT believe what just happened when I tried to pick the spoiler I told you about in an earlier e-mail.
They didn’t paint it correct!!
The goal was to take the two cans of paint that I provided to use in the order that was written ON the cans (Base#1 and Primer#2).
I also explained verbal that the first coat (black) needs to on first? and the second coat (grey) second?.
Well, when I went the second time to pick the spoiler today……the spoiler is black!!
I explained that it should be grey and guess what I got told!!!!
“we thought the cans were “miss”-labeled!!! So we did it the way we thought it was right!!!!”
Can you believe that? I sure CAN NOT!!!
Not just that this whole thing cost me a lot of NERVES by now and TIME and GAS!!
Also my paint gets used up for no reason, which , as you remember they wanted me to pay for in the first place!;)
I guess I have to make now another ride back to pick up the spoiler….a week later!
Or, who knows what the next story will be!!!!
I will keep you posted!

I bought a 2006 used car for nearly $7000 from these rip offs two weeks later the car needed $650 worth of engine work. I spoke to the salesman that sold it to me and he just shoved me off on the sales manager who was naturally out of the office. After several calls I got hold of the manager and these ass holes wouldn’t even consider doing the work for less or discount the parts. Beware these guys live up to the stereotype for used car salesmen crooked.
