Horrible Horrible Horrible. My experience with them was beyond horrible. The sales people were overly aggressive, fake, and slimy. The "certified" car I bought needed servicing within a week. When I brought it in to be fixed, service was denied by a screaming ranting sales manager, and when I filed a complaint through the better business bureau the sales manager sent me a threatening email that he called a "warning".
There was nothing good about this buying experience. The sales person was overly aggressive, fake, and slimy. The prices were inflated. The condition of the car, even being certified pre-owned, was less than satisfactory as it needed additional service within a week of purchase. Post-sale service was denied by a screaming sales manager... need I say more.

Dealer response on Horrible, avoid at all costs.
I usually do not respond on post boards but in this case I feel I have to. I am writing a response to the accusations that LizH has written on this website. I am Dan Carlton General Manager of Salisbury Chevrolet. This customer bought a car from us a few weeks ago. She started as an internet lead and made an offer on a certified car that we accepted. When she came in she had financing arranged at her credit union. When she came in I offered her 2.9 %. which was about half of the interest ra te that her credit union had offered her. I also offered her a 7yr/100k warranty. If she had taken the warranty the payment was still less then her credit union had offered her at the higher rate they had quoted. At that point she got rude and stated "You better not be telling me I have to take the warranty to get the 2.9%?" I then stated that I would still give her the 2.9% either way but that I highly recommended getting the warranty. She was rather blunt with me and said she just wanted to take the 2.9%. That is where it ended. And for the record she financed the vehicle with us..again her choice. At a much better rate than even her credit union could offer.As for her post about her brakes she never gave us the opportunity to talk about it before she bashed us. We offered to have a vehicle available for her if she dropped it off for the day. That was not good enough for her. And to be perfectly frank I looked at the rotors when the v ehicle was inspected and they easily passed NYS Inspection.Yesterday while online I noticed her first post and when she came in to the dealership I advised her in a calm tone that I did not appreciate her personal attacks on this website and told her that it might be in her best interest to maybe seek another Chevrolet dealer if she was so unhappy with our service.Her actions in our dealership were disrespectful to my employees as well as myself. I may be in the car business but I will not allow someone to abuse my staff or myself. I never had to mention the 2.9% to her..yet I did. The bottom line in this matter is I actually lowered her payment a great deal from what her own credit union had offered. And now I end up being bashed online for it. I am refusing service to her due to her lack of respect for my personell and her personal attacks on my character. Her GM warranty is valid at any Chevrolet Dealer in the Country so I am sure sh e will be able to find someone who will be able to satisfy her. I am done trying to do the right thing and getting slammed for it. As for your threats Liz, please feel free to do as you wish. I am willing to go to what ever level you wish to go to. It is my reputation that you have called in to question and I do not take that lightly. I have a good reputation in this business. I also thought I would add that as of June 22nd 2007 Salisbury Chevrolet is the highest rated dealer in Upstate New York in customer satisfaction. That rating is figured by General Motors based on customer survey scores. Currently our customer satisfaction score is 94.4% out of a possible 100% score. The zone average is 84.4%. We also have held the Traveling trophy Gold dealer award which is awarded monthly for all of 2007. So like I said before..we may not please everyone 100% of the time but I think you would agree 94.4% is well above average. I gave a customer 2.9% and offered her a warranty. It could have been worse. I could have never offered it to her and she probably would have computer attacked me for that. As for her legality comment. I know the laws and they protect me as a dealer like they do her as a customer. LizH I sold you the car for the agreed price and I gave you 2.9%. You just happened to run into someone that would not take your abuse, your arrogance and your disrespect for other people including my employees. As you grow older you will learn treating people nice will get the same in return..enough said Dan Carlton General Manager Salisbury Chevrolet
