Today my husband and I went to Russ first, looking for an SUV. We had never drove a Tahoe or Yukon and we wanted more info on them. The salesman came over to us and was not very inviting. We walked around a few cars - all of which he would not open - then he asked us "are you going to buy anything today?" We told him we weren't planning on buying anything today, but needed to test drive a few vehicles before committing. He then proceeded to tell us that he could not help us and he started to walk away. We were speechless and have never been treated that way before. We asked him again, and he said he needed to focus on other customers that were a better lead. I'm writing this after coming home with a brand new 09 Yukon that we bought at Auto Town in Milwaukee. They treated us with respect and in-turn we gave them our business and now have a great vehicle. I would stay away from Russ, as they "select" who they want to work with. Everyone from the sales manager to the lousy salesman and the run down, small lot should tell you to turn and go somewhere else.
